Sthreshley exhibited, "Pentagon TV", a photograph of the melted back of a Pentagon television that was destroyed on September 11, 2001.
As an objects installer for the exhibition "September 11: Baring Witness to History" at the National Museum of American History I was able to examine the collection closely. The back of the Pentagon TV caught in a state of transformation struck me as poignant. The images we saw broadcast on these objects changed how we thought about ourselves.
